Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at an
altitude of 1,400 metres in the Western Ghats near
Pollachi about 90 kms from Coimbatore. It has
various kinds of fauna and birds. The best time to visit
Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary is between from May to June
and October to February. |

Perur Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is
one of the major pilgrimage centers in Tamilnadu. This
Temple is 7 kms from Coimbatore Railway Station. Perur
Temple was constructed by Karikala Cholan over 1500

Thirumurthy Dam situated at the foot of Thirumurthy
Hills and is about 20 kms from Udumalpet. A perennial
stream flows by the side of the Amalingeswarar temple

Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the

like Tigers, Leopards, Elephants, Deer, Snakes, and
birds. Elephant rides are a major draw. |

Ooty was the summer capital of the British rulers in
India.This is situated in an altitude of 7,500 ft. Some
attractions to watch in Ooty are Botanical Gardens, and

The Botanical Garden is built exactly of that of the
English Style. Every year during April and May many
tourists visit the flower show. |

Kodaikanal is situated 138 km from
Coimbatore.
It is one of the most poplar hill stations in South
India.The hill sides abound with the Kurinji flower
which blooms once in 12 years. The Bear shola falls,

Kukkai cave are some of the other places worth visiting.

Vehicle ride, elephant ride and regulated nature walk
are provided. Elephant camp at Chinnar is 25 KM from
Topslip. It is best done during September and March.
Panther, Gaur, Sambar, Deer, Elephant, Tiger and a

Coimbatore Railway Station. this is the sixteenth Farm
University in independent India. The Agricultural
University was originally established in Saidapet, later
the location was moved to Coimbatore in 1907.
